Flock Free Tree Surface Protectant Kit
- Protects trees and other surfaces by creating a non-crossable barrier which complicates access to leaves and crowns of trees.
- Easy-to-use DIY solution – just roll the film around the tree trunk and apply the surface protectant over the film creating a sticky surface.
- Does not harm birds, squirrels, or other animals. The strength of the surface protection glue is not enough to capture a large animal.
- One size fits all: the kit includes 1000 ft of film and an 8 fl oz can of the surface protectant – enough for many trees for the whole season.
- Economical, long-lasting solution. The protectant doesn’t wash away with rain and is stable under the sun. One application will work for weeks.
What is this?
A surface protectant for trees and other surfaces that creates a non-crossable barrier which complicates access to leaves and crowns of trees.
The kit consists of a 1000 ft roll of plastic film and an 8 fl oz can of the surface protectant with a built-in brush.
The surface protectant acts like glue creating a tacky non-crossable surface that stays sticky for a long time, but the stickiness doesn’t transfer on touch.
Safe for birds, squirrels, and other larger animals because the strength of the glue is not enough to capture and hold anything bigger than insects.
How to use it?
Roll the film several times around the trunk of the tree you’d like to protect, stretching the film a little. The film is self-sticking and will stay on the trunk after several layers are applied.
Apply 2-3 coats of surface protectant on top of the film using the brush built-in to the lid of the can or any other paintbrush or roller (not included). That’s it.
The surface protectant may lose its tackiness if covered in dust or dirt. In that case, just wash it lightly with cold water. After washing and natural drying, the tackiness will return.
