Aedes Mosquito Killers are easy-to-use and highly effective mosquito traps. They mimic the ideal breeding environment for mosquitoes and attract female mosquitoes.
The internal surface of the trap is treated with mild insecticide which is released when the trap is filled with water. When the mosquito contacts the water, it dies, as well as all eggs laid by it.
The amount of the insecticide is very small (but enough for mosquitoes) – this makes these traps safe to use around people, kids, and pets (when used as directed).

Questions and Answers:
Are they safe for children and pets?
The active ingredient of this product is Permethrin sprayed in very small amounts. It’s enough to kill mosquitoes, but it will take over 40-50 traps even for a small mammal animal to feel sick. So, these pots are safe for humans and pets when used as directed.
What happens if it rains?
The product has a hole near the top to prevent overfilling, and rain will not diminish the product’s effect. The device has been tested in tropical areas, specifically during the rainy season, and still remained effective.
Will it kill bees or other insects?
Aedes Mosquito Killers are specifically designed to attract female mosquitoes.
What happens if water evaporates?
The water in the device can be replenished until it leaks, for up to 4 weeks.
How long do they last?
Aedes Mosquito Killers last for up to 4 weeks. They start leaking after that – that’s totally normal because they are made to be biodegradable over time. If it leaks, it should be replaced with a new one.
Will I see dead mosquitoes immediately in the device?
Most Aedes mosquitoes will get exposed to the mild insecticide, fly away and die soon after. If you use enough devices for the size of your property, you will notice a reduction in mosquito population in the area within a few weeks.
